The futures can be money settled in U.S. {dollars}, that means that {dollars} change fingers at settlement as an alternative of the underlying instrument (bitcoin, on this case). The futures settlement worth can be decided by the CoinDesk Bitcoin Value Index (XBX), crafted by CoinDesk Indices, a subsidiary of CoinDesk.
